Job Steps
Job Steps for Youth is an 8 week pre-vocational training program for youth ages 18-24 that are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. Youth enrolled in the program participate in both educational workshops and hands-on learning experiences.
In addition to workshops and field trips, our TAY Employment Specialist offers one-on-one support to participants utilizing a partnership approach to work alongside each youth to identify their unique strengths, skills, and vocational interests. Graduates of the Job Steps Program will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation from TAY Employment Specialist.
